19.11.2021 DFG extends GRK "Breaking Expectations"
The Marburger Graduiertenkolleg (GRK) "Maintaining vs. changing expectations in the context of breaking expectations" will be extended for another 4.5 years. The German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG) is funding the second phase of the successful GRK 2271. This enables the currently 14 doctoral students from nine different countries and 14 scientists in the Department of Psychology at the Philipps University to continue researching the question of why people often have expectations then retained if they are disappointed or if they have been refuted by experience (article by the Philipps University of Marburg (2021, November 9th).
