25.10.2023 Marburg Conference on Expectations and their Violations

In July, the RTG organized the first "Marburg Conference on Expectations and their Violations" at the Department of Psychology. Besides 10 invited, international guests, about 25 former and current PhD students and 14 PIs participated in exciting presentations and discussions about expectations and expectation violations. Talks and posters addressed the question why and when humans and animals modify expectations in light of contradictory evidence in a variety of research areas (including clinical psychology, educational psychology, social psychology, cognitive psychology and biological psychology).
