26.01.2021 Project changes
With the start of the new cohort in October 2020, we announce the following changes among the Principal Investigators (PIs):
- Dr. Pia von Blanckenburg (Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy) will supervise the project “Expectations and expectation violation in the communication about death and dying”.
- Prof. Dr. Christopher Cohrs (Social Psychology) will supervise the project “Allowing expectation violations: Moderators of dealing constructively with disagreements”.
- Prof. Dr. Daniel Heck (Psychological Methods) will supervise the project “Cognitive and Statistical Modeling of Subjective Expectations”.
- Prof. Dr. Christiane Pané-Farré (Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy) will supervise the project “Acquisition, maintenance, and change of threat expectancy”.
- Prof. Dr. Alexander Schütz (Sensomotoric Learning) will supervise the project “Expectation violation by eye movements: attribution and compensation” with Prof. Dr. Harald Lachnit (Associative Learning) acting as a co-PI.
- Dr. Metin Üngör (Associative Learning) will supervise the project “Does the strength of expectancy violation influence whether expectations are maintained or changed?” with Dr. Anna Thorwart (Associative Lerning) acting as a co-PI.
- Prof. Dr. Markus Wöhr (Behavioural Neuroscience) will supervise the project “Expectation maintenance vs. change in animal models: serotonin – orchestrating associative learning and neuronal plasticity processes” with Prof. Dr. Rainer Schwarting (Behavioral Neuroscience) acting as a co-PI.
