After completing her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science, Linguistics and Publishing Studies at the University of Mainz, Antonia Schulz went on to study Cognitive and Integrative Systems Neuroscience as Master of Science at the University of Marburg.

In her Master's thesis at the AE Educational Neuroscience, she investigated the development of reading-related brain regions in children before they start primary school.

For her PhD project, she is now investigating the brain development of foetuses during the second half of pregnancy. For this project, she was awarded a scholarship by the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes.
