Chantal Kasch (she/her) is a doctoral student and research assistant in the lab. She studied Psychology, Criminal Justice, and Sociology at the University of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and graduated with a BA in May 2021. She then moved to Egham, UK, in order to pursue a Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology from Royal Holloway University of London, where she graduated with Merit in December 2022. She also completed an internship with CDARS London, where she supported individuals in their recovery from substance use and lead Mental Health and Well-Being sessions for women. Chantal takes interest in research related to LGBTQIA+ and culture, specifically the presentation of mental health issues and their underlying mechanisms. She is also interested in minority stress processes. Additional research interests are network analysis and Process-Based Therapy.
When she is not doing research, she enjoys art, traveling, and trying new recipes.
