Educational psychology deals with the description, explanation, prediction and modification of teaching and learning processes based on psychology concepts and theories. The field covers a wide range of topics such as (1) prerequisites and processes of learners, (2) learning outcomes of learners, (3) instructional processes during teaching and (4) institutional and societal conditions influencing learning. Specifically, this team focuses on topics including learning and achievement motivation, self-regulated learning, digitally supported teaching and learning, learning disabilities, school inclusion and teacher education
