The documentation includes several photo collections, such as those of the survey sites of the "Lautdenkmal reichsdeutscher Mundarten" [Phonetic Memorial to Imperial German Dialects] or of partial corpora of the "Preußischen Wörterbuchs" [Prussian Dictionary]. In addition, large parts of the institute's history are documented photographically.
