Prof. Dr. Mark Williams
Mark Williams is associate professor of Film and Media Studies at Dartmouth College, USA. There he directed the Cyber-Disciplinarity Humanities Institute in 2005. He is a founding editor of the Journal of e-Media Studies, which published several volumes between 2008 and 2016, and was re-launched in 2022. And he is an editor of the book series Interfaces: Studies in Visual Culture, which focusses on the evolution of visual culture across different media. Furthermore, Williams is the director of the Media Ecology Project (MEP): a groundbreaking Digital Humanities project that enhances media access, scholarship, and preservation through advanced technology and collaboration with major archives all over the United States.
