German as a Foreign Language

If you are an international student at Philipps-Universität Marburg and German is not your first language, it is important for you to communicate effectively in German and manage your studies and your job. The fact that you are immersed in the language is helpful but not sufficient, because you do not receive feedback in everyday communication, let alone tips and strategies for improving your ability to express yourself more precisely. This kind of experience is available through the German courses the Language Center offers along with additional services. 

In order to register for these courses, you have to take a placement test to determine your current level of German.
