Major (start: winter term)
If you want to study the degree B.A. Language, Discourse and Power as a major, you need to start in the winter term. Usually, the bachelor thesis will be written in the major subject and you will be taking the module Communicating Science in your last term. You can download the following exemplary study plan as a PDF.
Minor (start: winter term)
If you want to study B.A. Language, Discourse and Power as a minor and you decide not to write your bachelor thesis in this subject, your exemplary study plan might look as follows. The advantage of a combined bachelor's degree is its flexibility: if you have already taken another Introduction to Linguistics module, you do not need to take the introductory module of B.A. LDP. Instead you can move on to the advanced courses, because most modules are elective modules. You can download the following exemplary study plan as a PDF.
Minor (start: summer term)
If you submit a formal request, you can also write your bachelor thesis in B.A. Language, Discourse and Power, even if you study it as a minor. Then you will also take the module Communicating Science in your last term, while you write your bachelor thesis. Your exemplary study plan could look as follows. Of course, you can diversify your minor, since you will also benefit from the flexibility of a combined bachelor's degree. You can download the following exemplary study plan as a PDF.
