We are interested in the design, analysis and efficient implementation of
cryptographic algorithms, and their application in network protocols and
security architectures.

Our research focuses mainly on symmetric cryptography and its applications,
especially the design and cryptanalysis of hash functions, block ciphers, and
authenticated encryption schemes.

Research interests:

• Symmetric encryption and authentication, hashing
• Applied cryptography
• Cryptographic algorithms for high-performance as well as lightweight platforms
• Efficient implementation of security mechanisms
• Security and privacy in e-Health and cloud infrastructures
