...Therefore Study 'Computer Science'!
Deepen Your Expertise
In the Master's program in Computer Science, you can expand and deepen the specialist skills you acquired in your Bachelor's program. You will complete various compulsory elective modules, e.g. from the areas of software design, cloud computing, graphics programming, artificial intelligence, model checking, distributed systems, IT security or databases. Feel free to choose the modules that interest you most from our course offerings. You will find any restrictions on enrollment under Study Composition.
Choose Your Individual Research Focus
To deepen your knowledge and to set individual priorities, you will work on a two-semester project, i.e. you will create extensive research-related software with two to three students.
In at least one seminar you will develop, present and discuss current research literature. The module 'Independent Scientific Practice Computer Science' serves as preparation for the master thesis, in which you scientifically work on and present a research-related problem from computer science. You will be individually supervised by a professor and/or a research assistant. Use your right to have a say in the choice of topic.
Dare To Look Beyond the Subject-Specific
Optionally, it is possible to choose a profile area in the amount of 12 CP, in which basic knowledge in another scientific discipline is learned.
