M.Sc. Functional Materials

The Department of Physics has decided to discontinue the Master's degree course in Functional Materials in a few years' time. New admissions or applications for this course are no longer possible.  For this reason, you will no longer find any information on the application procedure. 

The objective of the English-language Functional Materials master's program is a research-oriented education in the field of modern functional materials, which are becoming increasingly important in the engineered world. The key to the further development of these materials lies in a detailed understanding of their quantum physical functional principles, their selective manufacturing and the characterization of their properties. You will gain this understanding in a two-year master's program comprising research-oriented basic, advanced and final modules.
