The academic evaluation center (APS) has been established to check on the authenticity of educational biographies and the corresponding educational certificates.

Mandatory application document from winter semester 2023/2024.

Important information for applicants with a degree from India: Starting with the winter semester 2023/2024, you will need an APS certificate as a mandatory application document. For more information, please visit the website of the Academic Evaluation Center Delhi and the website of uni-assist. If you are already in Germany and have a student visa, you do not need an APS certificate.

The APS is a joint institution of the German Embassy and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). It exists in China, Vietnam and India. The APS checks the authenticity of educational biographies and the corresponding educational certificates, and issues certificates if the result is positive. For these countries, the APS certificate is a requirement for applying to a German university.
