Women physicists guided tour at ESA in Darmstadt

Das ESOC (European Space Operations Centre) ist das Kontrollzentrum der ESA mit Sitz in Darmstadt. Es ist seit 1967 für den Betrieb sämtlicher ESA-Satelliten und für das dazu notwendige weltweite Netz der Bodenstationen verantwortlich.

Das Projekt Mehr (für) Physik-Studentinnen lädt alle Studentinnen, Wissenschaftlerinnen und weiblichen Beschäftigten des Fachbereichs Physik ganz herzlich zu einer Führung durch das ESOC in Darmstadt ein.

The guided tour is scheduled for Friday, 15th December, 2023, at 1pm and it will take 90 minutes.

Take a chance to travel together by train and start from Marburg Hbf at approx 09.30 h.
After the tour we will have lunch together - an ideal chance for networking and getting to know each other.

After lunch, we will have time for a relaxed visit of the Darmstadt christmas market in Darmstadt before we return back home to Marburg.

The return is self organized.
