Protection Against Sexual Harassment and Violence
In order to protect students and staff from sexual assault, Philipps-Universität has set up a trust council and adopted the guidelines for protection against sexual harassment and violence, amongst other things. One of the basic requirements in the fight against sexual harassment and violence is that all members of the university are informed about their rights and also about possibilities to defend themselves. We have, therefore, compiled some relevant links on this topic on this page. Of course, anyone affected can also contact us directly. We will treat all complaints confidentially.

Sexual harassment in the workplace or workplace occurs when an unwanted, sexually-determined behavior occurs against a person's will. The Office of the Council of Confidence at Philipps-Universität Marburg is committed to ensure that a person's right to protection from discrimination on the basis of the individual sexual orientation or gender identity is respected and upheld.
The pages of the university's central women equality officer contain additional information on rights and promotion of women, links to advice and contact points both inside and outside the University.
