25.03.2024 Our group at the annual conference of the German Physical Society
Last week, we obtained insights into exciting new science, discussed a lot of research and presented some of our own work at the DPG spring meeting in Berlin.
Dominik presented his and Anton's first results on the emission properties of specially aligned perylene crystals in collaboration with AG Witte. Nim showed his study on mechanoperovskites with remarkable stability from Roorkee university. Johannes presented his magnetooptical studies of charge transfer excitons in Type II heterostructures in collaboration with AG Koch and co-workers from Paderborn. Alexander contributed a poster about first insights into the low temperature luminescence diffusion in triple cation perovskites. Marina gave a topical talk about the exciton diffusion in molecular semiconductors and explained how to explore it using luminescence microscopy, with some peculiar insights into the endothermic singlet fission material tetracene.
With a lot of new impressions combined with good food, as well as excursions to space and to local pubs, we enjoyed the week, which went by rather quickly.
