01.06.2023 New Review Article: Small Molecule Activation!
Heavy p-block elements: The activation of small molecules such as dihydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, ethylene, and acetylene is an important challenge in synthetic chemistry. These transformations represent benchmarks, when evaluating the reactivity of the compounds that are involved in these reactions. Furthermore, these reactions open up perspectives for the exploitation of small molecules as synthetic building blocks. In Kai's review article, the special role of heavy p-block elements in this field of research is highlighted. The contribution has just been accepted for publication in Chem. Commun. - congratulations!
