07.09.2023 Front Cover: Eur. J. Inorg. Chem.

Research highlighted on the front cover: We have been invited to design the front cover of the scientific journal Eur. J. Inorg. Chem. with an artwork related to Felix' and Sebastian's recent contribution. The picture shows the development of a new class of ligands with a butterfly-like structure. Inspired by this analogy, the ligand synthesis is outlined: a catarpillar (representing the dibismuthane starting material) consumes delicious leaves, which stand for the second starting material (a chalcogen). The catarpillar thus evolves into a magnificent butterfly, which is fluttering around colorful flowers, that represent the metal atoms that are to be ligated.
