Our research group investigates the mechanisms controlling the spatiotemporal organization of bacterial cells and the adaptation of their morphology, physiology and cell cycle to adverse environmental conditions. Within the M4C initiative, we focus on the cellular biology and cellular organization of environmental relevant bacteria.
