Internationalisation of career planning
Working abroad as a researcher can enrich your academic work, broaden your perspective and your academic network, and thus strengthen your professional profile.
But what does internationality mean for the career planning of young researchers? How important are stays abroad and international visibility?
The phd and postdoc meeting will take place on 07.11.2023 and will take up the topic of "internationalisation", which was already the focus of the Scientists' Day on 06.06.2023. The venue is the Alte Aula (Lahntor 3, 35037 Marburg).
The first part of the meeting will be organised by the PhD students' representation. During the coffee break that follows, you can find out more about various aspects of internationalisation. In the second part of the event, the video premiere "Show us: Where are you from? Where have you been?" shows the mobility and diversity of young researchers from Marburg. The subsequent awarding of the prizes for excellent doctoral supervision honours the special commitment in the active supervision of young researchers up to the doctorate.
At the end, you are cordially invited to an informal get-together.
You can find more information on the program here.
