The Nature 4.0 project is dedicated to the development of a modular environmental monitoring system for high-resolution observation of species, habitats and processes relevant to nature conservation. A new monitoring system is being created using sophisticated sensor technology: remote sensing, environmental and motion sensors on drones, on moving robots, on trees and on animals collect precise and comprehensive data, which forms a comprehensive basis for sustainable species protection and securing ecosystem functions.
