How to get to the institute
The Institute of Pharmacology is located on the 3rd and 4th floor of the Biochemical-Pharmacological Center (BPC) building. The BPC is located at Karl-von-Frisch-Str. 2, 35043 Marburg.
How to find us
...by car
Coming from the south, take the A5 via Frankfurter Kreuz to Gambacher Kreuz. From there, take the A45 towards Gießener Südkreuz. Change there to the A485 towards Marburg. At Gießener Nordkreuz, continue on the B3. Leave the B3 at the Marburg/Süd exit and follow the signs for Uni-Lahnberge. Keep right and drive into Karl-von-Frisch-Straße. (Signposted: Botanischer Garten). Turn right at the first opportunity on Karl-von-Frisch-Straße and then take the first left into the Med. Forschung parking lot. The parking lot is directly opposite the Biochemical-Pharmacological Center.
Coming from the north, take the A49 and change to the B3 in Borken in the direction of Marburg. Leave the B3 in Marburg/Wehrda and follow the signs to Uni-Lahnberge. Drive past the University Hospital in the direction of the Botanical Gardens. Turn left into Karl-von-Frisch-Straße. Take the first possibility and turn right. Then take the first left into the Med. Forschung parking lot. The parking lot is directly opposite the Biochemical-Pharmacological Center.
...by train and bus
ftake the train from the south via Frankfurt or from the north via Kassel to Marburg (Lahn) main station
From Marburg/Lahn main station you can take the following bus lines:
- City bus linie no 2 with destination "Sonnenblick" (via "Universitätsklinikum"); travel time approx. 18 min
- City bus line no. 7 with destination "Universitätsklinikum" (via "Stadtmitte - Südbahnhof"); travel time approx. 30 min
- City bus line no. 11 with destination "Universitätsklinikum"; travel time approx. 20 min
- City bus line no. MR75 with destination "Kirchhain Bahnhof" (via "Universitätsklinikum"); travel time approx. 15 min
Leave the bus at the bus stop "Botanischer Garten".
If you arrive by bus line 7 or 11, take the footpath behind the bus stop and walk directly to the Biochemical-Pharmacological Center.
If you arrive by line 2 or MR75, take the underpass and then keep right. You will come directly to Karl-von-Frisch-Straße. Cross the street and follow the signs for Biochemisch-Pharmakologisches Centrum. The building can already be seen from there.
