Institute for Medical Biometry and Statistics

The  Institute for Medical Biometry and Statistics (IMBS)  is part of the Medical Faculty of Philipps-University Marburg. Our main research focus is on the development and implementation of novel statistical methods, in particular in the fields of regression modeling and statistical learning. Additionally, we provide biometrical support and statistical consulting in the planning and analysis of clinical trials, experiments and all other biomedical research. Furthermore, we are also responsible for teaching (Bio-) Statistics to students of the Medical Faculty.
