Perception of safety of patients with advanced idiopathic Parkinson's disease - a qualitative study
Description
Patient safety is a fundamental aspect of healthcare. Patients play an increasingly important role in improving the quality of care and safety, which means that involving them in the safety discussion is crucial. This study aims to identify situations that make people with Parkinson's disease feel unsafe, and to explore the factors that contribute to their sense of safety or discomfort. We'll also look at whether previous negative experiences have affected their use of health services. Finally, we'll ask patients for their ideas on how to improve patient safety. Our aim is to use these findings to improve the care of people with advanced idiopathic PD and ensure that any issues affecting their safety are addressed.
