Research
The Department of Education is characterised, both in terms of its internal structure and its curriculum, by its fostering of a broad and multifaceted research culture. As a result, the Department welcomes and encourages historical, systematic and theoretical approaches as much as it does empirical, conceptual and developmental research. The spectrum of our research work ranges from monographs and secondary occupational research to intervention research and research funded by external third parties. Dept. 21 also stays abreast of social, educational and scientific developments, most notably in its research activities, basic theoretical findings and applied conceptual knowledge.
