HeFDI Data Management Plans – RDMO
Data management plans (DMPs) support sustainable research data management through systematic and structured planning of measures and are required as proof by some funding bodies. The open source software Research Data Management Organizer (RDMO) has established itself in Germany as the de facto standard for the creation of DMPs and is widely supported at research institutions and within the framework of the NFDI.
HeFDI established the cooperative provision of RDMO early on with central hosting at the ULB Darmstadt and joint content development in the HeFDI RDMO AG. The service was recently expanded to include the Software Management Plan (SMP) for the sustainable planning of research software. The Hessian service was further developed in the context of the NFDI4Ing consortium and was integrated into the NFDI as a basic service ("DMP4NFDI ") and thus contributes to one-NFDI.
