Central User Account for external Lecturers at the Faculty of Medicine (Staff Account)
As an external professor (apl. Prof.), private lecturer (PD) or lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, at a teaching hospital or general practice, you will receive a personal Staff Account directly from the Dean's Office, with which you can use a variety of centrally provided IT services (incl. electronic media requiring a license), see scope of services.
The Dean's Office at the Faculty of Medicine coordinates the creation and renewal of Staff Accounts and forwards the password letters to external lecturers.

Requirements
You are involved in teaching at the Faculty of Medicine (FB 20) of Philipps-University Marburg in one of the following areas:
- External professors (apl. Prof.)
- External private lecturer (PD)
- Assistant lecturer in a general medical practice
- Assistant lecturer at Campus Fulda
- Assistant lecturer at a teaching hospital
- Lecturer at the department
- Teaching import at the department
- Other authorized people at the department (e.g. IT coordinations)
- Assistant doctor at Campus Fulda
- External PJ student or PJ course participant
An identity check (see application procedure) is required if you wish to use the following services:
Application procedure
Please directly contact the responsible contact person as mentioned below.
As a rule, you will first receive a form “(New) application for a teaching contract and personal access to media subject to licensing at Philipps-Universität Marburg”, which you must complete and sign.
If necessary, your contact person will check your identity using an official identification document, then add your personal data to an Excel list of authorized persons and forward the list to the Dean's Office of the School of Medicine, if applicable. The Dean's office then has the accounts created at the University Computer Center and regularly takes care of the renewal.

Lecturers with teaching assignment
Contact person: Please contact the clinics / institutes where your teaching assignment takes place. They will report the teaching assignments each semester to the study deanery at the faculty of medicine, which then carries out a collective registration at the HRZ in April or October (before the lecture period starts).

Assistant doctors (and others) at Lehrkrankenhaus Fulda

Due to licensing reasons, access is only granted to the IT systems of the University of Marburg and to k-MED (no external IT services).
Renewals take place annually in December/January.
Other
Separate agreements exist e.g. for imported lecturers, other authorized people (e.g. IT coordinations) and for external PJ students and PJ course participants. These are documented internally.
