Instructions for setting up Data Backup

This guide covers backing up local hard drives using IBM Spectrum Protect software.

Requirements

• Register for participation in the central backup service via web form (with a Uni Account). You will receive an e-mail with your registration and configuration data, which you must enter after installing the software.
• Local administration rights (if necessary, have them set up by your department’s IT administrator)
