Consulting Service
For refugees and asylum seekers who have had to leave their home countries for a variety of reasons, starting and successfully completing a degree program in a new country often poses a particular challenge. The International Office would like to contribute to your successful journey from start to end through good advising practice.

Please bring to your advisory meeting any documents (if available) that may be helpful in advising you. Example:
- Residency permit or document
- Proof of language skills (e.g. certificate, examination certificate)
- Proof of degrees
- School-leaving certificates (e.g. attestation, baccalaureate, high school diploma, IB diploma, etc.)
- Other documents that grant permission to pursue higher education in your home country (e.g. preuniversity course, university entrance examination, etc.)
- Degree, proof of length of study, transcript of records
The documents that you should bring should be available in translation by a certified or sworn translator.

The International Office offers personal consultation and a comprehensive program of events on careers and career entry for international students and students with a refugee background.
