Staff
The University of Marburg welcomes staff from partner institutions around the world!
Whether you seek to join us for a short exchange or a longer collaboration, we want you to feel right at home at our vibrant university in a historic town with a charming atmosphere. The University of Marburg is a center of intellectual exploration with a long-standing tradition of international cooperation. We believe in fostering connections and sharing knowledge across borders, and we're excited to have you join our academic and administrative community.
For colleagues from abroad, the International Office organizes an annual International Staff Training Week. The program is mainly for staff from International Offices, Student Services, Welcome Centers and Career Services; however, colleagues from other areas are welcome if they are interested to work on the focus topics.
In 2025, the topic of the Staff Week will be "The Contribution of Higher Education Institutions in Sustainability Transformation – Navigating the Tension between Path dependencies and Change." The programme will be organized for colleagues from International Relations Offices, colleagues from Green and Sustainability Offices as well as colleagues from the fields of Structural Development and Research.
