Does everything sometimes get too much for you during your studies? Do you feel under a lot of pressure to perform and find it difficult to maintain a good study-life balance? Perhaps the financial situation, the new culture/language or social integration are also a challenge for you? And what will happen in the future?
Studying - especially as an international student - places changing demands on students. If you feel stressed by these as an international student, this workshop could be the right one for you. The aim of the workshop is firstly to identify and reflect on your own stressors. On this basis, approaches and methods for dealing with challenges, recharging your own sources of strength and thus strengthening your stress management and resilience will be taught. In addition, "stumbling blocks" and how to overcome them can be discussed in the group so that you can develop a more optimistic attitude and a greater sense of well-being. The workshop requires active participation.
Speaker: Laura Elena Neufeldt-Homolka is a psychologist (M.Sc.) and in training to become a psychological psychotherapist. Within the scope of her several years of experience in psychological counseling in the university context, she has already been able to support many students with challenges in their studies.
