Weimar
You need a break from studying and want to explore Germany? You like to learn about German literature and history?
Then join us for our two-day trip to beautiful and historic Weimar. The trip begins on June 15 at 8 am with a bus ride to Weimar. After a guided city tour, we will visit the national museum for Goethe and his former residential house. The afternoon and evening are free, so you can discover the city on your own. On the second day, we will visit the former concentration camp Buchenwald, before heading back to Marburg. You will be back in Marburg on June 16 around 6 pm.
Registration required from May 16 - May 24 via E-Mail at Erasmus-culture@uni-marburg.de, including your full name, your study abroad program (if applicable) and your preferred correspondence E-Mail address. Only ONE registration per E-Mail permitted. Spots are limited and will be allocated on first-come-first-serve basis according to different study abroad programs.
The event is FOR FREE.
ATTENTION: Prior to the trip we have a little, but mandatory meeting on June 5, 7-8 pm to discuss room allocation, questions and most importantly to get to know each other.
We are looking forward to see you!
