27.10.2022 MarMento mentoring for international students is looking for you

MarMento, the mentoring program of the Department of International Affairs, searches interested participants.

Are you interested in intercultural contact and engagement as well as in social, cultural and qualifying networking events? Then MarMento is the right place for you.

The program is aimed at both experienced students of higher semesters and new students from abroad or with a migration or refugee background.

In MarMento, mentors support their new fellow students from abroad with everyday and study-related challenges and thus facilitate their arrival in Marburg and at the university. In this way, mentees and mentors can strengthen their own intercultural skills, explore and shape the university location, and find contacts and inspiration.

In order to discover and develop your potential, you as participants are invited to workshops and social and cultural activities which are offered cooperation between the International Office and the MIC-Marburg International Club. Confirmations of participation can be earned for your involvement.

Target group: students of the University of Marburg: students of higher semesters as mentors and new students from abroad who spend their entire studies in Marburg as mentees.

For mentors:

November 26, 2022: 09 a.m – 5 p.m mentoring training and matching

December 17, 2022: 09 a.m – 5 p.m. intercultural training

January 21, 2023: 09 a.m. – 5 p.m. mentoring training

For mentees:

November 26, 2022: 1 p.m – 5 p.m mentoring Training and matching
