Introductory Sessions in the PC self-study area
In order to use the PC self-study area, participation in a general or language-specific introductory session is required. During the 90-minute session, you will find out about the learning options in the PC self-study area, and you will have an opportunity to explore the possibilities for the language you are interested in. Afterwards, you will be given the user ID card which authorizes you to use the PC self-study area. You do not have to book a PC-workstation.
If you want to obtain a language certificate or participate in an event at the SprachLounge, it is not necessary to attend a introductory session beforehand.
Teachers can book the Center specifically for their course groups, possibly with a focus on specific levels or skills. Please make an appointment and discuss the appropriate contents with the student assistant at the Self Study Center or Ariane Wenz.
If you are unable to attend a session for which you are registered, please give us prior notice so that we can open up the place for another person.
During the semester
Please register in time for the introductory session (at the latest 24 hours before the time of the session). Otherwise, we can not guarantee a place on the session.
