Welcome Day for new Professors
On Welcome Day, the newly appointed professors at Philipps-Universität are welcomed in a festive setting.
Next date: October 23, 2025, 1:30 pm–approx. 7:30 pm
Location: Lecture hall of the University Library, Deutschhausstraße 9, 35037 Marburg
The event starts with a relaxed get-together where the new members of the university have the opportunity to network with each other and make initial contacts. After a welcome from the University Board, representatives from the administration and various institutions will present their services and responsibilities.
The Executive Board then invites you to a festive reception with the newly appointed professors, members of the Executive University Board, heads of administration and service units as well as deans.
The family members of the newly appointed professors are cordially invited to attend the event and an accompanying program.
