A sustainable network is a key factor for a successful career inside and outside the academic sector. Such a network facilitates the exchange of knowledge, access to key information, and mutual support for successful projects. The key to networking is building meaningful relationships and mutual trust.
This workshop covers basic techniques as well as the dos and don’ts of networking. Through a balanced combination of theoretical input, exchange of experiences, and practical exercises, you will be enabled to develop your own personal approach towards successful networking.
Intended Learning Outcomes
After the workshop, you will
- be able to identify suitable networking partners and develop your personal networking strategy,
- be able to maintain and expand your personal network, and
- be able to present yourself and your projects convincingly.

Theoretical input, exchange of experiences, and practical exercises
Requirements
Proficiency in English at the B2 level of competency is required.
