Working in teams is omnipresent in our private and professional environments. Cooperation in teams is important because it allows you to work together to achieve a common goal or derive mutual benefits. Teams typically outperform individuals when the tasks require multiple skills, judgement, and experience.
We all know that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts – but what does working together in a team really do for you? How does it benefit you in the workplace? Teamwork fosters motivation, creativity, and learning. It blends complementary strengths and gives you the opportunity to build on the talents of teammates. Teams with a high level of internal trust benefit from greater exchange of information and less supervision.
In this workshop, you will gain insight into various ways of improving teamwork in the workplace. The focus lies on finding the right balance between task and relationship issues in teams. You will gain an understanding of the different contributions individuals make to teams and how to develop trust and individual strengths for successful teamwork.
