Mastering Python – Next Steps in Coding and Development

Embark on an enriching journey into Python's more advanced features and applications. This workshop is designed for those who have a basic understanding of Python and are ready to take their skills to the next level.

Intended Learning Outcomes

• Mastering project setup and version control using PyCharm and GitHub.
• Utilizing external libraries to enhance Python functionalities.
• Applying Test-Driven Development (TDD) for robust code development.
• Understanding object-oriented programming and functional programming in Python.
• Building and sharing Python packages effectively.

Presentation, practical exercises, trainer input

Requirements

This is an advanced workshop. Basic familiarity with Python is required. If you have not worked with Python before, please book the workshop "Fundamentals of Python" (October 21–23, 2024) first.

You are further requested to install Python with an integrated development environment of your choice. We recommend PyCharm.

Proficiency in English at the B2 level of competency is required.
