Diversity-sensitive programme to promote structured collaboration in tandem between doctoral candidates and supervisors.

With "AdvanceAcademia! Enhancing academic careers." the Berlin University Alliance is now offering the first diversity-sensitive program to promote structured collaboration in tandem between doctoral candidates and supervisors. It is open to all research fields and disciplines.

The program lasts six months, is free of charge and includes individually selectable modules. Since April 2024, the Berlin University Alliance has been awarding up to 30 places per month to supervisors of doctoral projects and their doctoral students. The curriculum is offered in German and English.

The focus is on promoting:

• the regular work of doctoral candidates on their doctoral project
• the implementation of an effective and lively evaluation and feedback culture
• independent, regular and close reflection on the progress of the doctorate
• a gender- and diversity-sensitive attitude in research, teaching and healthcare

Please note that registration for the next round in English, which starts on October 07, 2024, must be completed by Friday, September 27, 2024.
