In times of corona-induced closures of care facilities and schools, young researchers who had to take over the care of their children or other relatives were particularly exposed to multiple burdens and particularly hindered in their research.

Within the framework of MARA's Covid-19 Student Assistant-Fund, up to 20 young scientists with family responsibilities can be funded by the support of a student assistant.
