03.02.2024 German Thesis Award announced
The announcement is aimed at young academics from all disciplines who have submitted an excellent dissertation of particular social importance in 2023. With three top prizes of 25,000 euros each, it is one of the most highly endowed prizes for young academics in Germany.
The Körber Foundation wants to encourage young academics to confidently represent the social value of their research and contribute to the public debate. The German Academic Award therefore honors doctoral candidates who have presented research results that are of outstanding interest to society.
The application period ends on March 1, 2024 and is open to anyone who completed their doctorate at a German university or, as a German citizen, at a foreign university in 2023 with an excellent degree - magna or summa cum laude (or equivalent).
