Invitation to the GGL Career Day 2023 on 16 March 2023

The GGL Career Day is primarily aimed at doctoral students in the life sciences, Master's students and postdocs and provides impulses for the career orientation of young scientists. The event will take place live at the Aula, JLU Main Building, Ludwigstraße 23, 35390 Giessen.

·Talks of GGL Alumni sharing personal insights into their personal career paths

·Discussions with companies about current job profiles

·A look at academic job profiles beyond the path to professorship

This year we will explore how new professional opportunities have developed from the Covid pandemic. The topics will also include science management, research and development in industry, and crisis management in the public health sector. A recruiter will explain how companies develop young talents in trainee programmes. You can also learn how to get your research funded if you stay in academia.
