09.03.2022 Volkswagen Foundation announces "Funding for Refugee Scholars and Scientists from Ukraine"

We would like to draw your attention to the funding program "Visiting Research Program for Escaped Ukrainian Scientists" of the Volkswagen Foundation.

The program offers financial support for escaped Ukrainian scientists of all disciplines who are to be integrated into working groups at German universities.

Ukrainian scientists who have been forced to leave Ukraine by the invasion of Russian troops can receive funding from the Volkswagen Foundation to continue their scientific work in the framework of a guest stay at a university or research institute in Germany.

Under the leadership of the head of the respective institution, scientists with a doctorate in Germany who head a research group at a German university or research institute and who can provide a workplace for the Ukrainian partner to be hosted are eligible to apply.

The International Office coordinates the application process and asks the working groups of the departments to contact ukraine@uni-marburg.de if they are interested.
