Communicating Academic Content –
Publicity for Your Research!
Discover the Power of Science Communication!
Bring your research into the spotlight and captivate your audience with concise texts, compelling visuals, and engaging presentations. With impactful public activities, you bridge the gap between science and society, benefiting both. Science communication opens new perspectives, fosters transparent dialogue, and enables open-ended debates.
In today's research landscape, excellent science communication is key to the success of grant applications. Clearly and understandably presenting your topics also facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration. Outstanding achievements in this field are not only recognized but also honored with prestigious awards such as the "Communicator Award" and the "Klaus Tschira Award for Achievements in Public Understanding of Science."
Take the opportunity to effectively showcase your research and inspire a broad audience!
Science Communication at MARA
In MARA's training program, you will learn how to communicate your research topic meaningfully to the public beyond your specialist community. For this purpose, we offer various workshops which you can find in our calendar of events.
The individual workshops of the program can be attended independently of one another and without previous knowledge. For the attendance of at least three workshops, it is possible to issue a collective certificate on request.
Additionally, MARA offers the opportunity to receive individual coaching in matters of science communication.
