Brochure: "Why do a doctorate in Marburg?"
The Department for Young Academics and the Marburg University Research Academy (MARA) in cooperation with the doctoral student representatives have edited an information brochure for doctoral candidates at Philipps-Universität Marburg.
"Why do a doctorate in Marburg?" is the deliberately chosen title, as the brochure is intended to help present the requirements for and the path to a doctorate in Marburg in such a way that it becomes transparent and shows the many opportunities and support measures available to doctoral candidates in Marburg.
The brochure provides information on the framework conditions and the process of doing a doctorate, but also on the time and personal requirements, because the path from the decision to do a doctorate to the moment of receiving the doctoral certificate is long and often involves a number of hurdles that need to be overcome.
The brochure in German and English is available in paper and digital form.
