Association with the Integrated Graduate School

Doctoral candidates whose doctoral project is theoretically and methodologically closely connected to the research profile of the Collaborative Research Center have the possibility of associate membership in the Integrated Graduate School.

The associate membership offers doctoral candidates the possibility to actively participate in the events of the Integrated Graduate School as well as the Collaborative Research Center. However, association with the Integrated Graduate School does not entitle to funding from the approved third-party funds and/or to a future full membership in the Collaborative Research Center.

Interested doctoral candidates are asked to submit an informal application for association to the coordinator of the Integrated Graduate School, Il-Tschung Lim. The application should be submitted via email in one single PDF and should include the following documents:

  • Cover letter
  • Exposé of dissertation project (max. 5 pages)
  • Curriculum vitae
