Working Group Equal Opportunities & Diversity
The Collaborative Research Center has set itself the goal of increasing diversity among members, promoting equal opportunities, and continuously improving the compatibility of family and career. The working group is responsible for implementing measures that serve this goal. It pays attention to diversity and equal opportunities in hiring procedures, reviews family-friendliness in the planning of activities, and advises female junior researchers of the Collaborative Research Center on possibilities for individual career advancement as well as on questions regarding maternity and parental leave. The working group also organizes support measures for employees with children, establishes formats for networking and career advancement for female scientists, and designs a wide variety of events to promote equal opportunities.
