15.02.2023 The Collaborative Research Center "Dynamics of Security" welcomes visiting fellow Shakila Yacob

The CRC 138 welcomes Prof. Dr. Shakila Yacob, who will spend six months as a guest researcher in the subproject C06 "Foreign Economic Securitization. Economic Security Beyond the Nation-State" will conduct research. Shakila Yacob is a professor of economic history and international economics at the University of Malaya, where she was previously executive director of the International Institute of Public Policy and Management (INPUMA). She has conducted research in the UK and the US, among other countries. Her research focuses on economic and business history during the period of colonialism and decolonization in Southeast Asia.
