Working Groups
The joint research work of the Collaborative Research Center is carried out in transdisciplinary working groups. They form the core of the cross-subproject research and are dedicated to guiding questions of the research network. With their work, the working groups pursue the central concern of the Collaborative Research Center to systematically identify and analyze forms of securitization and to examine them towards a typology.
In terms of content, the working groups are guided by the core points of the concept of securitization, which forms the starting point for the research program of the center.
Since the focal points of the working groups are variably defined, their work is not necessarily fixed for the entire duration. Especially for collaborative research centers in the humanities and social sciences, this flexible organization of joint research work offers a target-oriented set of instruments.
